White fused alumina is a form of aluminium oxide that is exceptionally pure and may be utilised with both stainless steel and aluminium. White fused alumina is made by fusing high purity calcined alumina in electric arc furnaces (WFA).
White Fused Aluminum Oxide is a high-purity fused aluminium oxide. Because it contains fewer contaminants than brown or pink combined aluminium oxide, it is white. The friability of brown fused aluminium oxide is higher than that of white fused aluminium oxide.
Aluminum oxide is a high-strength, wear-resistant material that can endure intense chemical attacks (acid and alkali) at high temps. On the Mohs scale, it has a toughness of 9.Because of its high refractoriness, outstanding electrical insulating characteristics, dielectric capabilities, and high melting point, White Fused Aluminum Oxide is a popular material for a range of applications.
