Ferro silicon 75 Ferro silicon 75 is widely used in steel making and casting. In the steelmaking process, the steel needs to be oxygenated to achieve the ideal high temperature environment, and too much oxygen at a later stage tends to produce more oxides in the steel, which affects the quality of the steel. At the same time, ferro silicon 75 can also effectively promote the fluidity of the steel, improve the absorption rate, reduce the production cost and increase the profit margin of the steel mill.
Uses of ferro silicon 75: (1) Ferro silicon 75 is an indispensable deoxidizer in the steelmaking industry. In steelmaking, ferro silicon 75 is used for precipitation deoxidation and diffusion deoxidation. (2)Ferro silicon 75 is used as an inoculant and spheroidizing agent in the cast iron industry. In the production of nodular cast iron, 75 ferro silicon is an important inoculant (helping to precipitate graphite) and nodulizer. (3)Ferro silicon 75 is used as a reducing agent in the production of ferroalloys.
