4.Steel Grit Production Technology 

Smelting

Smelting in electric arc furnace , which can adjust molten steel composition, reduce the content of harmful elements S, P and improve the purity of molten steel, so that steel shot will have more excellent texture.

Forming

Forming by high-speed centrifuging and casting, which can effectively control steel shot quality and reduce physical defect.

Selection

Separating the hollow and profiled particles effectively by selection to improve steel shot density.

Quenching

Proceeding Secondary Quenching treatment to refine the grain, make products internal microstructure more compact, and enhance the impact toughness.

Tempering

Further refining internal organization and meet the different hardness requirement. Precise temperature and time control make the organization condition and hardness uniform reach the best.

Crushing

Special crushing technology make the grit particles have a better fullness and angularity, and furthest reduce the cracks inside of grit particles.

Screening

Precise size control make the products meet the America SAE-J444 standard.





5.Steel Grit Applications

Steel Structure

Steel structure,H section,C section and angle steel are widely applied in the modern construction industry.

They all need rust and oxide skin removal treatment to achieve the good anti-corrosion property and aest hetic property.

Pipeline anti-corrosion

The steel pipes need surface treatment in order to strengthen the corrosion resistance. By polishing cleaning removing the oxide and the attachments achieve the requested rust removing grade and the grain depth. Not only cleaning surface but also satisfy the adhesion between steel pipe and coating, achieve good anti-corrosion effect.
